After you cross Heln\u00e6svej you can continue walking the field road through the wood that will lead you to the old Gatekeeper House at Ege Alle. You can still se the rests of the old dungeon that is so old that it is known to have kept the famous Danish Bishop Jacob Erlandsen prisoned in 1259 when he fell into disfavor with the king.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Note that the shortcut through the woods that we call the &#8220;jungle path&#8221; is really the old track of the turnip train.
